Gugulethu-Sofia Mbatha or Gugu Mbatha Raw is an actress from Britain who has gained fame for her role in 'Doctor Who. The British television science fiction series airing on BBC. Handler's mother worked as a housekeeper and her father was employed as a used car dealer. Her mother immigrated from Germany in America. United States as a young woman in 1958. After more than ten years fight against breast cancer, she passed away in 1989. Handler's father was Jewish and she was brought up Reform Judaism. Handler enjoyed a happy, healthy childhood in a good neighbourhood. When she was in her early 20s Handler moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. Handler was a professional actress to assist her. Handler began performing stand-up comedian full-time when she was 21. She realized she was gifted with storytelling. Handler's first job was as an actress in a cast of all females for the Oxygen channel's reality television show Girls acting poorly. It was an amalgamation of hidden cameras and funny jokes. The show was on the running from 2002 until. Handler started appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began working on The Tonight Show as a reporter. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 by hosting her own E! show. called The Chelsea Handler Show. The show lasted for two seasons. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have broadcast her live stand-ups. In 2010, she announced that she would host for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. This made her the second woman in history to host VMA's after Roseanne Barr.
